The Long Walk
The kids and I went for a walk yesterday, up to the Dollar Store (a blessing and a curse, that. Deets to come in a sub to come!).
A trip that may take me 45 minutes, tops took 2 and a half hours. Bless the littlest one, and her wee li'l legs.
Any way, the kids and the overpass that runs over 95-S are hereby represented. I only include the overpass shot because I think it's a cool one of the highway leading into the city...and I think my Wanderlust is kicking in.

Think the cages are for the safety of the people below from falling objects or cars that go out of control and things like that or people who want to end it all?
yes, it gives you such a rush to look down and see automobiles zooming below. I think the one on Elmwood on the way to Wegmans isn't caged. Is it? I can't remember. It's been such a long time since I have walked to Wegmans. When I was in Rochester, I used to walk to the overpass that overlooked the bike path/parks coming from genesee and the highway every weekend. It was fun. 
I live looking off overpasses. A lot of the ones near us are fully caged for some reason.Permalink: The_Long_Walk.html
